This work is an original piece inspired by design from early Irish (pre-Christian) metalwork and is titled ‘Celtic Peace”.It is based on the number 3 and is influenced by the use of the curved forms used by the early Metalworkers.Peace in Irish is Síocháin (Shee-KAWN)  This piece is handcrafted,individually etched and patinated (chemically coloured) by myself and so each work is unique.

My name is Chris O’Regan and I am a Metalsmith working in the Celtic tradition.This original work is inspired by traditional Celtic design, and is a piece of Celtic copper jewellery titled Celtic Peace.

The copper is finished with a clear acrylic spray to protect the work.Supplied with an adjustable roped polyester cord (NZ made)
Comes with a card with a description of the work and how it is made.
Made from recycled copper.Size 70mm (2 3/4 inches) across.
